Brisa also came home with us on April 5, 2006. I was immediately struck by her curious, eager nature and found her irresistible! She has been friendly and willing from the start. She loves to explore and is very confident – she does not startle easily and is usually the first to investigate a new object. Brisa can be caught and brushed, has had her feet handled, and is learning to lead as well as to stand tied. She is a well-balanced filly with straight legs and excellent conformation. We expect her to mature around 14.3 or 15 hands, although she is still growing and could be slightly taller. She already shows a great deal of athletic ability and stamina. We feel she makes an excellent endurance prospect – not simply because of her physical characteristics, but also because she has such an eager and confident personality. Brisa will be offered for sale to a good home in early summer 2007, after she has been titled and registered. We will continue to post training updates and new photos so anyone interested can watch her grow and learn. Of course, we also welcome visitors so you can come meet her in person! |
